Mike’s Melons Cantaloupe Sorbet
Refreshing, light, and naturally sweet. Perfect as a dessert for hot days.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 3 cups Mike’s Melons cantaloupe, cubed
- ½ cup sugar (can substitute with honey or agave syrup to taste)
- ½ cup water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the syrup: In a small saucepan, heat the water with the sugar until dissolved. Let cool.
- Blend: Place the cantaloupe, cooled syrup, and lemon juice in a blender. Process until smooth.
- Freeze: Pour the mixture into a shallow metal or glass container. Freeze for 1 hour.
- Scrape: Every 30–40 minutes, scrape with a fork to form ice crystals. Repeat until the texture resembles sorbet (about 3–4 hours total).
- Serve: Spoon into chilled glasses, garnish with mint, and enjoy immediately
