Mike’s Melons Cantaloupe Sorbet

Refreshing, light, and naturally sweet. Perfect as a dessert for hot days.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 3 cups Mike’s Melons cantaloupe, cubed
  • ½ cup sugar (can substitute with honey or agave syrup to taste)
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the syrup: In a small saucepan, heat the water with the sugar until dissolved. Let cool.
  2. Blend: Place the cantaloupe, cooled syrup, and lemon juice in a blender. Process until smooth.
  3. Freeze: Pour the mixture into a shallow metal or glass container. Freeze for 1 hour.
  4. Scrape: Every 30–40 minutes, scrape with a fork to form ice crystals. Repeat until the texture resembles sorbet (about 3–4 hours total).
  5. Serve: Spoon into chilled glasses, garnish with mint, and enjoy immediately
