Melon Mousse for Valentine’s Day

Smooth, fresh, and naturally sweet. A light dessert perfect for sharing with someone special.

Ingredients (4 Servings)

  • 2 cups ripe melon, cubed

  • ½ cup cold heavy whipping cream

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar or honey

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin (optional, for a firmer texture)

For Garnish:

  • Thin slices of melon

  • Small heart-shaped cutter

  • Mint leaves (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the melon until you obtain a smooth purée.

  2. Whip the cream until soft peaks form.

  3. Mix the melon purée with the sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla.

  4. Gently fold in the whipped cream.

  5. For a firmer mousse, bloom the unflavored gelatin in a little water, dissolve it gently with heat, and add it to the mixture.

  6. Spoon into individual glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  7. Cut thin melon slices and use a heart-shaped cutter to decorate before serving.
